Indonesian education system is regulated by Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The only accreditation bureau that has the authority directly from the ministry is called BAN-PT (Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi/The National Accreditation Board of Higher Education Institution). It aims to improve quality, introduce and disseminate “New Paradigm in Higher Education Management”, increase relevance, academic atmosphere, institutional management, efficiency, and the sustainability of higher education institutions.
